Delhi Government has set a final deadline of October 31, 2026 for property owners in unauthorised colonies to apply under the PM-UDAY Scheme.
The PM-UDAY Scheme helps residents in unauthorised colonies get legal ownership rights through:
✅ Conveyance Deed ✅ Authorisation Slip ✅ Property Regularisation Certificate
Residents living in 1,511 unauthorised colonies in Delhi can apply for property regularisation and ownership documentation.
After October 31, 2026, no new applications will be accepted. This is the final opportunity to secure legal property rights.
Delhi’s revenue department has set up PM-UDAY Cells in all district offices to speed up processing and assist applicants.
Applications can be submitted through the Municipal Corporation of Delhi portal (Swagam platform) along with required documents.
Only around 2,000 applications have been received so far, despite eligibility across thousands of colonies.
Officials say concerns include: ✅ Poor infrastructure in colonies ✅ Difficulty in getting bank loans ✅ Lack of awareness about benefits
The deadline is expected to boost applications and help nearly 45 lakh residents secure property rights.
If you live in an unauthorised colony in Delhi, this is your last chance to legalise your property before October 31, 2026.
